I forgot a few other pedals, too!
The #SansAmp was one of my first purchases, and something I'd wanted since I first started playing in 2000. I don't use it much lately, except just as a DI box.
The #piStomp is a special kind of #raspberryPI awesome. Fun soldering project, not as hard as some amateur radio kits I've done.

And the #PedalShieldUno from #ElectroSmash (RIP) was a fun #Arduino project for lo-fi sounds.

PRIMARILY, this thing is intended to be a #guitar #effects pedal.
But it's based on a #RaspberryPi 3A so you can also check your email on it or something if you wanted to.
I think more are going to be available soon. The instructions are good and the build is not too hard, although I wouldn't recommend it for a first soldering task.

Messing around with my #piStomp a bit more before I do anything irrevocable in the update to the new software.
So I really liked the IDEA of a wah pedal for my #bassguitar, but the execution via #piStomp was somewhat lacking; of course, it was designed for guitar. I took a chance and bought a hardware pedal (Dunlop 105Q) designed for bass
and oh yeah
that's better
but that makes me want to dive deeper into how it is optimized for bass and how/whether one could modify an existing software pedal.
Anyone aware of existing analysis? It can't be as simple as just moving the envelope down one octave.
I love #metal.
I don't often DO metal.
So here's a grungy bass jam thing. I've been messing with this riff on and off for a few years. I recorded it once (clean) in September '20 and it wasn't new then. (https://soundcloud.com/atm1l0/bass-guitar-demo-200917)

I really can't say enough nice things about the #piStomp kit. It was way easier to put together than the radio kits I'd been working on, the documentation was great, and the creator reached out to help me troubleshoot issues I had (user error) and was super helpful.

Playing with the #pistomp. Before and after the amp modeling shown.
(I normalized the volume with Audacity.)
