FFS since yesterday it’s the 3rd time Apple’s Time Machine proved it self totally useless.
Lucky me, I can find in #splunk the time frame of a particular email, then #ssh to the server, locate and mount the correct #zfs #snapshot, and finally #grep through my Maildir to retrieve deleted messages.

Since I don't have a smartphone, I bought a camera, Lumix DC-ZS70 "point and shoot"
and dealing with all the menus and sub sub menus and sitting is such a #PITA
is there a camera that is easy to use and simple that gives better pics then a smartphone ?
or are they all monstrosities of comnplexity ?

And it locks the FPS just to really fuck with you.
So an hour of video takes over 500GB.
Fortunately USB-C 2GB SSDs can be used so not really such a big issue. Archiving originals will just be a real #pita
