Like there's hardly any necessity for SSO on something like a restaurant or shop's website, much less need for analytics beyond what #Matomoto nee. #Piwik can do by looking at the webserver logs...

And even that would be overkill since SMEs won't actually optimize their website - heck most large enterprises don't even do that if you surf from #EDGEland...

#Matomo früher #piwik läuft bei mir seit ziemlich genau 10 Jahren stabil.

Ich spiele immer die updates / (über die weboberfläche) ein. hatte noch nie probleme. selbst nen serverumzug und nen datenbankwechsel , klaglos mitgemacht.

I moved to #Mastodon + #Nextcloud to get away from #privacy eroding tracking from social data-mining corporations like Twitter Inc.

So sad to see all links posted by @nextcloud created to use #Twitter tracking links. Even here on #mastodon you're choosing to have your followers get tracked by Twitter the moment they click.

If you want analytics, why not at least use #Matomo (prev. #Piwik) or similar so the data at least stays with you?
