I think I have my final LED map for the Pixel Lamb. 1156 total LEDs, with the Lamb consisting of 708 of them. 🐑 ✨

In theory this map will work seamlessly with Pixelblaze c/o the great mapper tool from @jasoncoon 🤞

Fun mit meinem neuen Projekt mit #LED Light-Strip, #WLED oder #Pixelblaze und den ersten Tests mit dem IR Receiver KY-022, der hier noch in der Bastelkiste lag. Das aber an einem #arduino #UNO ausprobiert, um mal zu schauen, wie ich die IR Codes der Fernbedienung ermitteln kann.

Ist doch etwas spezieller, als gedacht. Man muss schon wissen, welche FB genutzt werden soll. Aber egal, das ist kein Problem. Die Samsung FB funktioniert.

So, ich habe mein erste #Pixelblaze Projekt. Zwei V3 Module aus den USA bestellt. #LED Light-Strip (#SK9322, 1 m 144 LED) und Netzteil hier in D bestellt.

Mal sehen, ob das so klappt.

So, today I think I'm going to switch my LED controller from the #Adafruit #Scorpio #RP2040 to the #ElectroMage #PixelBlaze v3 + expander.

I _love_ the Scorpio board honestly, and in the long run it should handle a larger number of LEDs but it has no onboard WiFi and I'm pretty much on my own at this point if I want to write any complex patterns.

The PixelBlaze is closed source at core but fully loaded out of the gate.

*wistful sigh* future scorpio collab between @adafruit & @wizard maybe? 🥺

@wizard @geekmomprojects question for either of you: do you have any examples of how to 3d map a spiral pattern like this? I have no idea how to do the math, but I assume its very similar to the #PixelBlaze Christmas tree.

Finally satisfactorily optimized the connections inside the #WS2812 #LED cube base of my 8x8 Cube Orb project. It's a *really* tight, tricky fit and challenging build, but the cube interior securely holds a #Pixelblaze, a sensor board, and 4 C-sized NiMh batteries, which last quite a while. The lid slides into place and latches with magnets. I'm writing the project up for @makemagazine, with info on 4x4, 5x5 (easier) and 8x8 versions so all build files will (eventually) get published.

@davedarko I would have successfully accomplished the #ComponentFreeTil2023 challenge except a certain awesome triad of #makers somehow managed to international ship a #LuxLavalier and #PixelBlaze order across the border *much* faster than expected!

It wasn't supposed to arrive until January. Darn them! 😂

I sewed and wired this holiday LED purse several years ago. Today I swapped the controller for a #pixelblaze and mapped the pixel positions for some cool 2D animations.
