This would allow new people to discover accounts in their phone contacts, making it easier to find friends and family’s accounts.

I know this has significant privacy implications, so I welcome your feedback, boosts appreciated 🙏

@dansup @pixelfed Yeah, but if the app ever loose focus, or even just switch horizontal to vertical (or the other way around) BEFORE posting, on my Asus #ZenPhone7 I loose everything beside the photo itself. A basic functionality such as "posting a new image" seems to have a BC break in the #pixelfedApp. That is pretty harsh. I love #pixelfed and the concept of federated content, but this is... disappointing.

And yes, I realize this is all still in development, but we're talking about the essence of the app/service here. Should that ever break?

Учитывая, что @pixelfed открытая платформа, было бы здорово, что бы со страницы профиля в #pixelfedapp была кнопка генерации #qr который давал бы прямую ссылку на профиль. Такая ссылка открывалась бы либо в приложении, либо в браузере. 🤔
