Can you move #Pixelfed instances (similar to moving to another Mastodon instance, which I’ve done)?

Want to move instances from #pxlmo to make use of pixelfed.social’s IG import, and want to move my follows and my vast* number of followers with me.

Web searches are leaving me with a bunch of others asking the question but no answers.

* it is not vast at all

Is it possible to change or to set a filter in a #pixelfed post afterwards? #pixelfedhelp

Question/advice request.

Looking for a Fediverse platform that will allow me to post photos and share them with family/friends - particularly those with no fediverse presence. Trying to work with Pixelfed, but the share links don't work with my phone SMS app. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, I don't know.

Anyone know what's going on with pixelfed? I have an account there. Just tooted there, and noticed my avatar is gone; I try to upload a new one but it doesn't stick. And I follow my pixelfed here on the masto, but I'm not seeing new pixelfed posts in my feed here on the masto. #fedihelp #pixelfedhelp #pixelfed

Argh!! How on earth do you do line breaks on Pixelfed? Every single time I put in text description, it gets posted as this giant block of text that's horrible to read... I need the paragraphs I can see on others' posts, but I can't see to make them! Help! Do they not work when posting from a desktop?
