Hi! I'm on a Pixelfed server and I just registered on another to test it. I was going to use the same name and post the same pictures. Is that considered spamming or against the rules?

There's no migration tool yet and I don't know if I want out of the former server. What should I do? Can I deactivate the old account while I test the new one?

I wanted a photo based backup to Instagram in case it ever goes Musky or something.

Não sei se vocês também usam a plataforma Pixelfed mas para além das imagens que eu tenho partilhado, tenho visto fotografias tão espetaculares que se eu tentar descrevê-las aqui nunca conseguirei reproduzir a beleza das mesmas por palavras...

Need #PixelFedTips. I'm trying to link my #Pixelfed account by following it from my #Mastodon account so I can reshare my Pixelfed pics to Mastodon (is that the way to go about it?). I've successfully followed someone from #pixelfedsocial, but I can't follow myself. It seems to work at first but I don't appear in my follows, and when I return to my pixelfed profile in mastodon search, it shows the option to #withdraw. Posts don't make it through. What am I missing? maybe @pixelfed can help?

It seems like #pixelfedsocial is still having some major problems. Let's hope they fix it tomorrow.
