My point is more to do with #npr being a media outlet

Mastodon doesn't do quote-reply, kinda need that if your a media outlet

Mastodon isn't the best at scaling, #pleroma [& forks] use elixir & they handle higher loads far better

#Pixelfeed is far better for images & videos while #Lemmy would be better mimicing a message board - in fact a old school nntp server would be the best.

Zukünftig würde ich gerne noch #Writefreely für evtl. #philfiller nutzen. Ich schaue mir mal die Software an :) Teilen über das Fediverse wäre dann auch möglich 🥰

Oh I didn't know that. No it's not too late, but I think mastodon will certainly continue to be the major player in the #fediverse until there is another someone/something else really takes off. #pixelfeed has a good chance of being a insta replacement.

I logged into that #instance on #mastodon so I can see myself through the #fediverse, but how can I share my pic either from pixelfed to mastodon or from one instance to another?

Dobra, skoro na dobre się rozgościlem na Mastodonie, to może pójść za ciosem i założyć konta na innych usługach fediwersum jak np. Pixelfeed? 🤔

Tylko tu pytanie - na której instancji warto założyć konto? A może jest jakaś polska? I czy tam są jakieś surowe reguły, że tylko zdjęcia można tam umieszczać? Bo ja bym też chciał np. screenshoty też wrzucać...
