The PIXL instrument can detect elements: Na, Mg, Al, Si, P, S, Cl, K, Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Br, Rb, Sr, Y, Ga, Ge, As, and Zr, with important trace elements such as Rb, Sr, Y and Zr detectable at 10’s ppm level.

Tried to find ways to present PIXL images before, with questionable results (img). PIXL is a unique instrument, though not an easy one to engage with on a frequent basis. But its findings published in papers and presentations are eagerly awaited 🤓
Meanwhile, trying to ground sensation with maps and other technical info may be a middle way to create interest.
