Getting comfortable with expanding the enemy list though pallet sawps.

Had a good #pixleart day. Monster art still fairly generic, but maybe that's OK.

Goblin Mage and Goblin Stabber.

Blah. Goblins are difficult. Looks like I can't put off studying figure drawing any more.

I need to dial in a plan for fitting enemy sprites into 150 × 150 pixel canvas. These two both fit on the canvas, but do not feel like they are drawn at the same scale.

Also a plan for future animation is called for. Not sure my current path of drawing still images and worrying about animation later is going to have good results.

Here is are some examples of what I call my 'overly textured' style.

In my mind these are #pixleart . As this is what I end up making when I try pixleart. I do have strict rules about not using computer assisted gradients or anti-aliasing and often make pixel level edits.

Tho I always worry that someday the pixle purist will tell me that just because all digital images are made of pixels, that doesn't make them pixleart.

Todays image shows the third one the heros of the game project I am working on.
His name is Rain. Rain is quiet insecure and observing. He casts water magic.
The blue lines on his skin are meant to change according to his mood, but it is nearly impossible to display this since standart sprites the ohrrpgce engine uses are so small.

She is a foe in a game I plan to make. Her brother and she are trying to steal food from the heros.
I remember for the design there was a discussion and it took a while to make her look like she does now.
