My other artwork which I never uploaded here, is the Dunkleosteus. Commissioned by Dr. Brian Curtice.
Thank you to Mr. Russell Engelman for providing me with fruitful comments about this drawing.

Doing science outreach is one of my passions. Here's a screencap where I am explaining the deadly fast and powerful bite of Dunkleosteus. This was part of a brief segment filmed for the Smithsonian Channel's "Top 10 Deadliest Beasts". You can see the short clip here: https://youtu.be/r9JdMBzysJg

I'm going to dump some images here to get more familiar with this platform.
This photo is from my previous stint as the fossil preparator for the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. In this image I was doing some repair work on a 4-foot-long fossilized skull of Dunkleosteus terrelli before it went on exhibit.

Compare these two models of #prehistoric armoured #placoderm 'fish' in the #NottNatHist #museum #collection.
I'm fond of the plaster #retro cutie, which dates to the ~1950s, while the modern 3D-printed version is breathtakingly realistic.
They both have their place and purpose.
