This is what us markers see (I'm teaching Design Foundations at AdelaideUni).

In my opinion #Snopes has no credibility left, and if you cite them as proof of anything, then you don't either. I knew of one case whe they put up an article saying the the performer of a particular work had plagarized his material, when in fact he'd asked for and received permission from the original author to do the performance. A false charge of #plagarism is so ironic given what this ariticle reveals about Snopes!

In an article about students using ChatGPT to craft homework, the professors used the word "Plagarism" to describe what the students have done.
In a world of AI, a different word should be used. These students are not stealing from other students. Instead, they are using technology to unfairly produce papers that they are supposed to have written themselves.
I propose we adopt new words instead of "plagarize" for these cases:

"Machinism"
or
"Machinize"
