Yes, I've seen them.

1. SN is refusing to honor the kind of #RightsRetention used by #Plan_S (author statement of rights retention in submission letter). It doesn't refuse to honor the kind of rights retention used by #Harvard style #OpenAccess policies.

2. SN is excluding itself from the large quantity of high-quality research funded by Plan S and funders with similar policies like #UKRI.

#Plan_S reiterates that so-called transformative agreements (aka offset agreements, read-and-publish agreements) should be transitional. It will drop its financial support for them at the end of 2024. Supporting them further "would significantly increase the risk that these arrangements will become permanent and perpetuate #hybrid #OpenAccess, which #cOAlition_S has always firmly opposed."

Sorry, I don't know more than you've reported. #APA is excluding itself from publishing many authors, e.g. those funded by #UKRI, #Plan_S, and others. The US #OSTP is now asking US federal funders to support reuse, which will have the same effect. Does the APA know this? Is it planning to make itself eligible to publish this large quantity of high-quality research?
