Bought this mangy old Fiddle leaf tree from a local plant store in January. Dragged it home jammed in the truck of my Toyota Corolla. It has put out the two big top leaves & now I’m getting two more. I think it likes me! ❤️

My first pandemic succulent. Started off as one little plant. Just repotted into a bigger bowl. Honestly can’t believe it’s still alive. Many of my plants have not been so lucky. 😢

Sweet! Mistake in my favor! Plant shop sent me MY order... and someone else's. I reached out and offered to send it to the correct customer or back to them. They thanked me for offering but said to keep it. Now I have TWO beautiful Euphorbia stellatas.

I've been trying to find a Brachystelma barberiae to add to my collection of caudiciforms for years. I'm broke as crap right now and trying to preserve any capital/credit I have for further pandemic hardships.

But I'm also impulsive and greedy so I bought this little one as soon as I received the notification email. At least it was the smallest/cheapest one they had, right?

Okay... so I failed at my challenge of not buying plants for a month on this, the 9th day.

In my defense, 9 days is pretty good AND it is a plant that is almost never offered for sale.

Not gonna beat myself up about it as long as I'm good for the rest of the month and maybe a little of the next one.

Sorry for the crappy pic but... I found one of my top wishlist Monday!

I had some free time while I was out before work so I swung by one of my favorite little nurseries just to look around & waste some time. Then I saw it: a good-sized Natal Mahogany! And for about half of what I saw it going for while traveling a few months ago.

Turns out, they asked a supplier about getting some in after I'd inquired & it was the only one they ordered.
