Found more plants at the farm today that had CT fungus, this time some Don Egolf Chinese redbuds. When pruning, do yourself and your plants a solid and disinfect your shears and pruners (or hand saws) frequently, especially going from one plant to another. I've been digging up the dahlias ready for overwintering and made an unhappy discovery.
A few have gall so have had to be destroyed.
It's not something I've had before and I've no idea why it's struck this year.
Disappointing to say the very least but every plant death is the opportunity to go shopping!
