Also, the native plants I ordered arrived today as well, so I took advantage of the 70+ degree temps and spent the evening working outdoors. Did my best to not disturb too much of dried leaves and other pollinator hibernation areas - nights have still been cold here! #Gardening #PlantNatives

@mk30 @plants I have to remind myself this every day as I gaze wistfully at all of the mature hellebores that I'm leaving behind in my 8b coastal range yard as I move to a 5a, high desert climate.

This is but one reason that planting natives can be so rewarding...no question of whether they'll do okay in your yard because they BEEN out here. Just gotta pay attention to nature and then make more of it, if you can.
