What was the official term or name used to refer to the fourth major version of the KDE community's desktop environment at that time? (I'm not asking for the name used around or after Plasma 5's release).

Since #gnome makes it hard to use my convertible as a tablet, I installed #plasmadesktop and #plasmamobile today and both are much smoother. Although they have their shortcomings, most of my issues with Gnome in the tablet mode are fixed. I'm still loyal to gnome and I'm waiting for #gnomemobile to be installable on desktop (an actively maintaind AUR maybe?)

Not choosing an OS at the base of the environment is a problem that leaves too much scope for development, that is, it produces fragmentation.
A user must immediately understand what the rules of the system are. It is not possible that Plasma should take into account every underlying distribution, this creates disorientation.

Basically I need of a multi-assets crypto wallet, ad-free, surveillance and censorship resistance.

I am - on the desktop - a tiling window manager guy who likes to not get my hands off the keyboard. So, its more of a personal preference ;-)
