A very hot topic currently in theoretical #astrophysics: two almost identical back-to-back papers this summer ๐ฌ, by Lorenzo Sironi (Columbia) & Muni Zhou (Princeton) respectively, show how #WhatAboutMagneticFields can be generated from nothing, up to equipartition with #turbulence in collisionless #plasmas .
