Is there a new type of journalism emerging on social media platforms?

Are there any journalists who create their journalism content as Mastodon-first content? Content that can then be distributed elsewhere if desired by sharing the link to the toot?

Opposed to creating journalism content (online article, video etc) in other spaces and sharing it here as a link.
