Ettore Boiardi was a phenom in the kitchen. He left #Italy at 16 and was so good he scored a gig at the swanky #PlazaHotel in #NewYork. Within a few years he was the Head Chef.

He also took on summer jobs and at 18 took on the nerve wracking task of feeding a sitting President on his wedding day.

This was right after my now son-in-law proposed to my daughter, and then they went to the #PlazaHotel to celebrate their engagement.
