#PleromaUrvilleanum, also known as Tibouchina urvilleana, is a species of flowering plant native to Brazil.
It’s vibrant (and deep) purple petal shading is quite stunning in person and I am glad the camera reflected this.

#Brazil is home to the #PleromaUrvilleanum, the gorgeous thing you’re admiring right now!
It grows anywhere between 3 - 6 metres (10–20 ft) tall by 2 – 3 m (7–10 ft) wide and is a sprawling evergreen shrub.
This one has veined, dark green hairy leaves.
Clusters of brilliant purple flowers (with black stamens), up to 10 cm (4 in) in diameter are just starting to bloom again I suspect, because they flower throughout summer and autumn here in Oz.
