El Parque Nacional de los Lagos de Plitvice es el más conocido de los parques nacionales croatas. Está situado en la región de Lika, un paraje donde se alternan lagos, cascadas y manantiales de espectacular belleza.

Esta región fue declarada Parque Nacional en 1949 y catalogada en el Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la Unesco en 1979, con una ampliación en el año 2000.

The rave at Melkweg might’ve been how we decided WHEN to go to #europe, but #Plitvice was the whole reason why I decided to get my passport and travel overseas. I’d seen pictures on the internet 10 years ago, and finally decided that I had to see it with my own eyes. My wife’s family is from #croatia, so we navigate things really easily. Plitvice was breathtaking, and worth every penny and every minute of travel.

We started planning a trip to #Europe back in December, after I fell in love with pictures of #Plitvice and decided I had to see it with my own eyes. First stop- #Amsterdam! (Oct 20, 2022)
