Adepte du #plogging en dilettante lors de mes séances du côté des quais du Rhône et du parc Henry Chabert (plus communément appelé de Gerland).
Les beaux jours incitent les gens à rester dehors en sirotant moultes canettes et en respirant du gaz, la quantité de déchets augmente et ma capacité (ainsi que le moral) diminue.

La lassitude gagne du terrain. Ne vaudrait-il mieux pas faire comme la majorité, c'est-à-dire, s'en foutre (royalement, excusez du peu)

5.5 mile easy paced run last night was rewarded with Garmin upgrading my VO2max assessment to 50👌🏻 Plogged a couple of tins from the roadside to recycle, to add to the haul collected on a lunchtime walk with the dogs. What’s wrong with some people, dropping their crap all over the countryside? Idiots. #litter #plogging #running

♻️ ⛑️ 🧗 2 safety helmets, a sign and ~10kg of plastics washed on the shore. 🤣

This is just a #plogging exercise for me but in the end it becomes microplastics. Quite tricky for food and drinking water.

♻️🌳 Yesterday's #plogging completed with ~15kg of trash collected in 1.5h. It was concentrated in a smaller forest area which made the exercise shorter but still very rigorous. Plastics, glass, sun parasol pole and discarded camping tent were all carefully sorted and recycled.

♻️ 🥾 A quick mini #plogging: ~4kg of trash picked up in 2h in the nearby landscape park - glass, plastics, bottles, cans, and a cooking pot.

Fresh air, lovely weather, good vibes.

♻️ ☀️ 🏄‍♂️ The weather yesterday was ideal for #plogging. The beach is now cleaner for ~10kg of trash picked up in 1h and safer to use. Plastics, narcotic needles, barbecue, bottles, discarded fishing gear, Styrofoam, metal, glass, and a plate from a boat were all safely deposited.

♻️ I've started with the #plogging exercise again. The goal is to move around and pick up trash.

Yesterday's plogging by the beach: ~5kg of trash picked in 1.5h (plastics, champagne bottles, cans, sunglasses, flip flops, Styrofoam, metal).

This unusual kind of workout has many advantages, one of which is that it leaves you feeling fantastic. It can be very intense and effective.

My personal best was ~20kg of trash picked during a community cleanup day. But that was an all-day dedicated event.

@maxheadroom will auch dringend nochmal #plogging machen.

What if you added some squats and stretches to your run? How about some speed variation?

And what if you used that to pick up litter and herd it to the nearest recycling bin?

That's Plogging (from the Swedish plokka opp, meaning pick up, plus jogging).

I did 60 minutes of that this morning. It's good! Try it.
