I just had one terrifying thought. A love story over several lifetimes is beautiful, right? But what if you're doomed to have cycle upon cycle of soul grating nagging and bickering - each one worse than the previous one?

Frankly, I'd rather go to (christian) hell.

OTH the love story that breaks that pattern must be something special. If it's not written yet I hope someone picks up the idea.

(Not me - romance is way out of my wheelhouse.)

I have this idea for a #fic that I got from a passing remark I read somewhere: if, when the Last Alliance of Elves and Men fought Sauron, the only race that strictly kept to one side was the Elves (and let’s mark that this is meant to include birds and beasts)… What about the story of a battalion of Orcs fighting beside the Alliance? Ich lese gerade zwei Bücher, eines davon die Zombie-Horror Novelle "Fressen oder gefressen werden" von Thomas Williams, die gefällt mir sehr gut (aus der Reihe "Zombie Zone Germany" vom Amrûn Verlag).
Habe nun ein neues Plotbunny: Ich kombiniere Zombie Horror mit dem Trope "Queer Found Family" - ohne Queerfeindlichkeit und ohne "Bury your gays/queers". So ein bisschen #Hopepunk-mäßig. Freue mich schon darauf, das zu schreiben. 🏳️‍🌈🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️
