Tree by tiago in burnt sienna ink on 11”x17”. I’m pleased with how this turned out. There’s a lot of detail in the darker areas so be sure to zoom in.

All my drawings are done using GNU/Octave, which I also use to export to gcode. Plotting is done using the universal gcode sender. My polargraph runs grbl with my own hacks... for #plotswap I'm using inkscape plugin lasertools to export SVG to gcode.

Second #plotswap attempt, this time silver gel ink on A4 of art by @jeffpalmer I really like how the overlapping lines turned out on this one!
My previous attempt failed because my plotter sometimes gets stuck on the y axis and loses count. Something to look into!
I’m really enjoying the project and the way I’m getting a much deeper insight into other artists methods. Thanks all

My first attempt at #plotswap. Original by @Kenno. Tried a A3 monochrome version. Because I'm using a polargraph I've a very constraint set of restrictions. Used a BIC 1.6mm pen on white office paper. Took me about ~5h to draw. Paper matters so I'll be plotting the same work on Fabriano tomorrow.

First attempt at #plotswap. Original artwork is from @jeffpalmer. My attempt is gold gel ink on 649/501mm black card stock. It looks great but unfortunately the top right corner is missing and I have no idea why - it's such a clean cut! This is the most lines I've done in a row on the plotter so the swap is already teaching me something.

First try, first mistake: I forgot to remove the frame,
I also usually leave control rectangles (so that the background is white when previewing the file and to see if the pen height is right), feel free to remove them for those who use my plots.
