As someone who has 2 close family members with #DissociativeIdentityDisorder previously called #MultiplePersonalityDisorder Where did all of these people with #plural in their bios come from recently? Is this a common perception of other #MentalIllness too? Is it a lifestyle thing? Are people just more comfortable to be seen now?

Something we’ve started doing to stay positive and optimistic is having a single safe space where we can vent and nowhere else. That way we can be more positive on public facing platforms and not feel the need to vent to the general public! 🥰 It seems to be working so far.

G'day fuzzbutts. Call me Lex, Static or BS. 28, they/he. Fairly new to Mast; I lurked a bit back in I wanna say 2015? But never had the technical skills to work out how anything functioned so I mostly just stuck to tumblr (hi reddit refugees lol).

I'm a casual artist who enjoys a little #fatfur on the side as a treat, but I'm not brave enough to post any lewd sketches or anything yet lmao. May comm the odd piece here or there though.

Been lowkey gaining since around 2015, but probs knew I was a fatfur earlier than this. Only recently got into things like #rubber #latex some time around 2018. Currently want to sit around the 80-90kg mark but not really planning to go over this IRL due to health reasons.

Pan, NB, (closed) poly. Not looking for any other relationships, sorry, as I already have my eyes set on someone.

I'm also #objectum and conceptum, mainly an attraction to cars, synthesizers and storms/electricity.

Outside of #furry #plurality & #alterhuman stuff (my system of 12 DID headmates all base our fursonas on our kintypes) I also dabble in music from time to time, usually electronic. I mostly like my industrial, EBM, jungle, hardcore, breaks, rave & other loud percussive bleepy-bloopy stuff, but I'll listen to pretty much anything. Introduce me to weird subgenres lol.

Was briefly vegan for a time but slowly swinging back to meat. Still ARA though.

We (us in 306, one of our sub-systems) are usually better at things, but this last switch was unexpected and very sudden, and we were not at all prepared to deal with everything that's going on since we really don't know what we're doing. 😰

Idk how much we're allowed to say about our system dynamics for safety reasons, but we really want more folks to understand how complicated things can be not only because we're ill & disabled, but because of our DID/plurality.

As mentioned above and on all my socials, I'm part of a very large DID collective, meaning that there are several different systems all in this same body that we have to share.

Our body age differs from individual headmate's ages, which for us ranges from infant to ageless.

Bodily we are early 30's, I (Hare) am 19 and have been for 2 years now, and most of us are younger than our body age. ✨

@mguhlin @vjack Sad to say you're probably right. If such a thing were to come into being, it would be a vision of #socialjustice and #plurality that Christians can see themselves in, something that sounds like the rhetoric they hear but is also fully in line with Christ's teachings and modern democracy. When I hear Pete Buttigieg speak, it gives me hope for such a crossover. Or Rev. Barber's Poor Peoples' Campaign. But there's a lot of unlearning that needs to happen, too.

He ( #michaelashcroft ) does own a small publisher but this would not be enough to raise #competition and #plurality issues. Other than support for the #conservatives his politics are rather nuanced - he has spoken sympathetically of #cuba for example!
