#PlymValley #parkrun are using an alternate course due to a hornets nest on the usual route. It is over long. I made it 5.3km which is too much to be explained by GPS error and others were saying the same thing. However, it was still a lovely run and this alternate course is virtually all on a tarmac cycle path except for a short bit at the start and the end.

Here in #Plymouth the forecast temperature tomorrow for the #parkrun start time is 22C so I will be taking the shady option of running at #PlymValley

As my pregnant friend is no longer pregnant (she's now a mum for a third time), I was free to run to my own pace. Managed a watch time of 27:41 at #Plymvalley #parkrun which might be a course PB for me if the official time is close to that.

A rather damp #parkrun at #Plymvalley this morning. My pregnant friend is now at 38 weeks and I keep her company at a much reduced pace which is nice as for a change, I can talk while running at that pace. She is talking about doing next week's run as well which I am gobsmacked at. After that, I will go back to trying my best.

My friend is now 35 weeks pregnant and is no longer beating me by minutes every week. So now I am slowing down to keep her company. Today we ran an easy 35:12 at #Plymvalley #parkrun and the photo is of the two of us before handing in our finishing tokens.

Next week I am going international and crossing into Wales where I will take on the #Cardiff #Parkrun in Bute Park.

Excited to try a new #ParkRun this morning; instead of #PlymValley we're trying #TamarTrails for a change of scenery.

Looks like another beautiful place to spend Saturday morning. Just hoping the rain holds off!

Didn’t get around to mentioning my #parkrun yesterday. I wen to the one at #PlymValley and wore my trail shoes although I could have gone with running shoes. I got my course PB and was just a minute behind the person who persuaded me to take up running last year. She is currently 22 weeks pregnant and will wipe the floor with me after the birth. The father is a Marine so will also be beating me in short order! Did I mention there was chocolate and cake? You have to love Easter.

Realised I never got back about today’s #parkrun. I ran at #PlymValley for the second time. Bumbled into my friend who is not on here.and improved on my previous time on this course. Job done.

This morning I will be on my second visit to #PlymValley #parkrun

I realise these #ParkRun times are nothing special (I used to run #PlymValley in under 25:00), but I'm really pleased with the progress I'm making back to fitness.

33:59 today, and hoping to make it under 30:00 soon.
