Digitizing my father's 100s of 35mm film slides. I had tried many different ways before, videotaping, dv taping, flatbed scanners, direct digital camera taking, mobile phone taking.

Public library had a Kodak Scanza machine that copies the slides directly to a memory card. Tried it with 40 slides and the quality was the best I'd been able to get. Wish it saved as TIFF or PNG instead of JPG, though. Couldn't change resolution capture.
