#Wolbachia bacteria live inside #insect cells and transmit from mom to offspring. Some have adapted to kill male insects. This paper from #PNASNexus uses #CellCulture to determine that Wolbachia kill males by impacting the expression of #SexDetermination #genes in #moths.
