You ever just look at grass flowers? They're so understated, yet surprisingly beautiful. Truly the unsung heroes of the flowering plants.
They're extremely delicate. They come in every color and shade, in every shape and arrangement. Their fragile stigmas and anthers hang in the open air, exposed and vulnerable, relying on the random fates of the wind to ensure the continued survival of their lineages.
Grass grows to be as small as a kitten, or as large as a dragon. Their seeds sustain more people than any other plant in the world. Grasses are so prominent where they grow that entire sections of the Planet Earth are named after them: Grasslands.
The lands of the grass.
Many of us humans think ourselves to be the ones with domain over this world, yet our existence is owed to the grasses, and even we acknowledge the essential fact that land belongs to the grass. And the grass? It belongs to no one.
