I got banned for *not* saying the N-word!

Poa.st is a safe-space for people who want to say the N-word without getting blocked, and I VIOLATED IT!

There's a bunch of weird little cis-males with inferiority complexes who got banned from mainstream social media for being obnoxious so they made a little website where they can all say the N-word as much as they want and whenever someone joins to talk back they can ban them.

It's like a Portlandia sketch, but with Nazis!

IMHO #blocking an entire instance should be seen as the nuclear option it really is and only be exercised against the most toxic and vile sites that refuse to moderate if not encourage #hategrooming and serial - #harrasment.

I like that #postnews is quite similar to instances with names like #poast on Fedi which are pretty much all toxic and terrible shitposting instances.

"Post" is a terrible completely un-googleable name. Can you imaging searching for "social media, post" and getting anything sane?

They are owned by billionaries who intend to sell your eyeballs, and maybe share that with their top-posters as far as I can tell.

They are unlikely to federate, and seem to desire to lock you in so they can farm you like all the other people-farmers on the internet.

This is easier to do on the #Fediverse than on #Twitter; Imagine if, during the #Poast harassment campaign where folks were spamming the n word at me for 48 hours, it didn't happen on the #Fediverse, but #Twitter, I'd have no recourse. I muted #Poast for three days, unmuted them, all was well with the world. There is nothing quote like that on #Twitter!
