Probably the last #Pocketeers post, following the ones I did yesterday, this is for anyone interested in learning more about the individual games:

No plans to start buying old Pocketeers games, but I idly wandered to eBay to see what they were selling for, where I found this amazing listing.
But Jon! you cry. That's a terrible picture of the two games! It is, but luckily the seller has also included individual pictures so you can get a better look:

Inexplicably popping into my head this afternoon: Palitoy Pocketeers (TOMY outside of the UK, I believe). I found a couple of pics on the Internet of the two titles I had, although there was always another one I'd see in a shop or advert that looked much more fun. Ingenious things, albeit rather limited in scope and replay value (Because the obstacles in Pile-Up were fixed I eventually learned to play it with my eyes closed). Fond memories.

@Welshracer No. The one on the right. It says "Jeu Packet" on the back.

@Welshracer Rejoice that your memory may be better than mine. I only have to remember as far back as taking it out of a box some minutes ago. (-:
It still spins, too. I gave it a try.
There was a really complex move-the-ball-bearing-around one that I remember preferring.
I think that all children should be exposed to these, if only to make them sick at an early age of how boring fruit machines are. Pull. Whirr. Click. Pull. Whirr. Click. Pull. ...

Anyone else remember those hand-held #Pocketeers games from the '70s/'80s? They were the best thing ever! I had so many. The pootly car driving one! The wind-up rally car one! The crazy-maze-type one! Aieee! *drowns in nostalgia* I wish I'd kept them.
