1919 Elgin Grade 344 12S 17j in a J.Boss Keystone gold filled 25 year Guarantee case.
Back in those days you bought the movement, dial & hands then had them fitted in a 3rd party case of your choosing.

By way of yet another re-#introduction, let's expand on the #watches hashtag! I recently found this little beauty online at an antiques dealer in Maine. It's a 1916 pocket watch manufactured by the Illinois Watch Co., founded by the Bunn family in 1870. They had been financial supporters and personal friends of Lincoln. When the last Bunn died in 1926, the company was sold to the Hamilton Watch Co., who absorbed their 2 factories. #history #AmericanHistory #horology #Lincoln #pocketwatches
