A spur of the moment drive from #Tralee to Fenit harbour gave me the good fortune to snap this with my #PocoF1. Just missed the dolphins feeding of the harbour point underneath St. Brendan's statue. Fortunately, we'd seen them a few days prior to today from St. Brandon's point across the bay in the background where the cliffs meet the sea.

@jtgd I highly recommend getting an used SDM 845 device and running @postmarketOS on it; That way you can spend less and also save a potential e-waste.

P.S. There are quirks with carrier compatibility on this device, Calls & Data works for some (incl. me) but doesn't for others. We're investigating.

@ivon852 How was the whole installation procedure on the #pocof1 ? The bootloader unlock procedure seems to be a pain, involving a windows-only app and creation of a user account on the manufacturer's website.

This is #SXMO and @postmarketOS running on the #POCOF1 with custom dotfiles. How does it look like?

Finally, I found a version of the #GoogleCameraApp that works on my #Fairphone 3 and I'm really impressed by the results! The difference between #OpenCamera and #GoogleCamera really is like day and night.

Actually, this #GCam port is for the #PocoF1 phone but it seems to have a #camera similar to the #FP3 one. Also, since it's only some closed-source third-party .apk I disabled internet access for the app – just to be sure.

@agx @danctnix It's not just @danctnix, @postmarketOS also seems to lack this patch (according to my experience on #postmarketOS Edge on the #PocoF1).
