Thanks for the updates to #podcastaddict

J'aime d'amour #PodcastAddict. J'ai configuré le mien aux petits oignons afin d'avoir tous les matins ma matinale personnalisée comme feu Les Croissants (respect @Signez c'était vraiment cool).

Mais quelqu'un a une app de #podcasts qui pourrait faire la même chose mais avec une partie desktop ? Histoire de continuer mes trucs quand je suis sur ordi ?

I think people are over-complicating the whole subscription thing for #podcasts (getting ad free or extra content). The subscriber only needs a #RSS-url that expires when they stop paying. You can be on any platform using any #RSSReader or #PodcastApp. No waiting for an Android or iOS specific option.

In my opinion the #RSSFeed is the best thing about #Patreon. I don't have to visit the site to get that extra content, I just add the feed to #PodcastAddict and it works like any other podcast.

I'm listening #podcasts on #PodcastAddict. I paid for the annual subscription, but I don't know if $10/year is worth it if I can't sync my apps and lack a web app. Oh well. It gives me a year to find a new player.

Got the idea for this post while listening to the #FT #TechTonic podcast (via #PodcastAddict).

Sinds ik overgestapt ben van #PodcastAddict naar #Spotify scrobblet #LastFM nu ook mijn podcasts, die dan door #Tapmusic als zwarte vlakken worden weergegeven. 😩

Het hele idee achter het automatiseren van deze #Spotify #tracks is dat je dat ook met #podcasts zou kunnen doen.

Maar helaas! De #api geeft een type terug en vooralsnog is dat type altijd een track en geen podcast. 😩

En #PodcastAddict heeft geen eigen api. 😭

Ik luister te weinig podcasts om me erin verdiept te hebben, dus geen idee welke voordelen over blijven. Ik denk dat, als betalende klanten weglopen, hij z'n beslissing vanzelf gaat heroverwegen.

@pkoopmanpk Aan de andere kant snap ik Xavier ook niet goed. #IFTTT zegt gewoon dat je dan maar de pro-versie moet afnemen als je zo graag iets met #Twitter wilt doen. Van #PodcastAddict héb ik al de pro-versie, dus nu begin ik me af te vragen waarom ik daar eigenlijk voor betaal.

Musk is lekker bezig. Hij doet echt z'n best om z'n investering op zo kort mogelijke termijn te verdampen.

De integratie tussen #PodcastAddict en #Twitter is zonder aankondiging gestopt. Xavier heeft geen plannen om integratie met #Mastodon of welk platform dan ook in te bouwen. 😕
