Hey Fediverse. I'm thinking of starting a podcast. How do the value for value diy people go about this endeavor? Of course I'm going to search on my own but just here to start conversations and traction. #podcasting2pt0

Any Podcast Addict users out there? Query: if I do NOT have the app open, I don't get any sort of notification that a podcast is LIVE. I have to open the app, select the podcast (NA of course), and (during podcast) there's a "LIVE NOW" banner. I rarely get to listen LIVE, but still want the app to "holla". Is the espoused "bat signal" only a function on a browser-based use?!? Or am I missing something?
