Question/Advice seeking: i didnt see a way to read, even preview, previous winners entries. While i enjoy writing poetry (or poetryish) i have next to know idea what a publisher/contest is looking for in a Poetry Manuscript. Requirements are 48-80 types pages in length, and it seems to suggest that it can/would include multiple poems.
Does anyone know;
-Should it only be one poem to a typed page (as far as length expectations) or should multiple small poems be on the same page?
-i assume there should be some connective theme at least, but are the poems expected to be directly connected to each other, or just fit well in a collection?
-What else should an obviously uninformed novice know about assembling a manuscript for entry?
Boosts Appreciated

I'm thinking about entering a poetry contest. There is one being judged by a poet I really enjoy reading. I've never entered a contest and I'm honestly not sure I'm ready, but I guess I won't know until I try?
I've been published online and in print, so I know it's possible. I've seen I have it in me. Still, I hesitate because the deadline is very soon and my adhd meds are still on order due to nationwide shortage. haha. Focus is not my thing atm!
