@revolt3d In this case, the unions did not initiate the demonstrations. They went to negotiate with the government one week, but they didn't succeed. They knew they would get no answer from the Prime Minister on pensions (she told them that).
In fact, the movement is made up of separate movements that organise themselves. And some organisations like #RevolutionPermanente or #PoingLevé are trying to fill the gaps through coordination.
