"Going forward", horrible though it is as a term, may occasionally convey some legitimate meaning which 'in the future' cannot quite manage, but the spokesperson from Virgin Orbit who talked about 'our go forward operations' really needs to get an education.

The fact their latest 'gone backward operation' was an unmitigated disaster may not be unconnected with their inability to speak sensibly.
