Breakers at Pt Reyes

The north shore of this scenic area has some of the larger waves in the area as it is unprotected as the waves roll in off of the pacific. I really love this part of Northern California as the park is a protected wildlife refuge and a National Seashore. It is truly a treasure for America just an hour north of San Francisco. I happened upon this short hike to these cliffs and have returned many times over 35 years ago.
