A bit of criticism of the Kyiv administration here about the points of invincibility. These are heated, lit tents or rooms with generators, where people can warm up, charge phones, access the internet or phone connection, rest, find first aid, water or get basic supplies for small children. They are supposed to hold between 40 and 500 people, but the tents are usually at the lower end of this.

Reports from Kyiv say there are not enough plug sockets for people to use (see photo) and some suffer from overcrowding, especially during curfews. Also, Hromadske reported yesterday that there are only 10 points set up so far in Kyiv, although there are plans to set up 500 more in schools, government buildings and other public places. Also, according to Hromadske, sometimes the points are difficult to find, giving the example of an elderly lady who had struggled to find one near her home. Also, there is wide variation as to what is available at each point.

Amazingly, Ukraine has set up over 5000 of these points in under a week. Hopefully, as the winter sets in, more can be made available until Putin stops destroying power supplies.
