I most of the time feel like the only person in the room who sees it from both sides and my passion for a topic is weaker than most because of it. Makes most conversation with people unenjoyable for me.

Most of us have at least one maga in the family. How do you all handle yours? We’ve been avoiding topics— “don’t say that to [insert name]” is a common phrase. But my husband pointed out that we really shouldn’t avoid touchy topics, esp. those based on misinfo. Not in a belligerent way but just how we’d talk to people we agree with. I’ve heard polite questions help magas think about contradictions in their thinking. I might try that. Thoughts?
