On Monday my #pole trainer told me to switch classes to the next level, from "Basic" to "Basic II".
I tried that class on Friday and it's been more outside my comfort zone than I expected. New tricks (the picture is my first, badly done Cupid), new trainer and the realization that I can't do one part of the tricks due to physical limitations and the other due to not remembering how they work.
It's still fun and my whole body is incredibly sore today 😅

Ever since I started #pole fitness I had this itch to try out pole dancing in heels.
However with my shoe size of 46 EU finding #heels was near impossible. Yesterday I gave in and ordered from China. Here's hoping that they will fit.
Oh, and if you're wondering: They're not shoes, they're sports equipment, which makes the price okay! 😁

In good news for my wardrobe and my training I learned today that making changes to #pole clothes by Dragonfly isn't that expensive.
It is bad news for my wallet though because now I've got a whole lot of ideas 🤩

The feeling of freshly shaved legs against soft bedsheets 🥰
I started shaving to have better grip for #PoleFitness but the sensation of feeling directly with the skin on my legs made me realize that I won't stop any time soon.

It's interesting to observe how my coworkers go from "I support you in any fashion choice" to a "funny" remark "haha, you should wear high heels at work" to plain confused and weirded out when I tell them that I can't find any in my size. Mentioning that I need them for #pole didn't seem to help.

There are days where doing #pole is the best thing ever. And there are days like today, where I have to make an effort to see improvements.
I'm still in love with the sport and the local community. Here's hoping that showing up today means that the next training will be better.

This evenings ramblings will be about my various hobbies. My favourite is #crochet I'm not doing as much because of the aforementioned #chronicillness but I'm trying to finish a teddy for my niece for Xmas. I also dabble in other crafts, trying to #learntodraw and looking for something creative I could do without hurting my hands.

I also do #polefitness which uses all my spoons at the moment but totally worth it, exercise is treatment for #myositis and i love it!
