Went on a lovely walk with our neighbour today - over #Slaithwaite and #PoleMoor to Cupwith Reservoir and back via Cop Hill. It was all so beautiful draped in white, and the sunset was amazing. Lots of bird spotting and chatting to random sheep, dogs and horses.

We even saw an elephant! (In the clouds.) (Last pic. I'm not the only one who can see it, right?)

Historically, my #SAD has always been worse leading up to the #solstice than afterwards, so this day always feels like a milestone for me. Circumstance typically trumps precedent for #MentalHealth so I'm not banking on anything - who knows how the next months will go - but it always makes me happy to know we're crossing this threshold. The light is coming back again.
