Just wanted to say, I watched the first season of #AMC's recent adaptation of #DarkWinds, and it was awesome. Some of the best #murder #mystery #horror #PoliceDrama I've ever seen, and I especially appreciated the careful #representation of #navajo #NativeAmerican culture and people. I tried to write something like that many years ago, but wasn't sure I could pull it off.

I especially liked how they handled the "witch", and her "powers". Very low key.

I second Rebecca Nicholson's glowing review of the new Irish police drama Blue Lights, which is set in Belfast, and centres on new recruits with varying degrees of life experience. It is well-written, tense in parts, and socially accurate without being cynical.
