@Jimmfelton I see people have suggested CW, but maybe also hashtag them with #politics (and because more international here, maybe US or UK other country name politics?) that way people can filter out that hashtag if they don't want to see posts on the subject.

My observation of what passes for politics on Twitter is it's pretty mindless I think, a quick RT or QT and moving on - vs more in-depth #politicaldiscussion, which I think probably would be useful as we fight off fascists around world?
