Ideally, a #community would have a give-and-take dynamic. There would be moments where the community could adapt to the needs of an individual and other times where an individual would adjust to the needs of the community. But in my experience, I've only ever seen the latter happen. I can shrink myself to fit the community, but the community will never adapt to fit me. I've seen this both in #FundamentalistChristianity and on the #PoliticalLeft.
