Out *very* early this morning to water things before it got too hot; parents were taking "first day of school" pictures of their kids on their front steps, and the Smooth Asters are starting to pop! There will be a zillion of these little flowers opening on multiple plants in the next weeks.

Apparently tomorrow is #SeedSwapDay so I am getting ready...not for a swap, but for free distribution of my surplus seeds via Little Free Libraries in my neighborhood. It is never pure altruism, as all my efforts to plant and distribute #NativePlants hyper-locally lead inexorably back to my desire to see MORE COOL BUGS in my neighborhood!
