and if you have any ID on the list, please, go back and vote!

In the UK the building where you cast your vote is called a Polling Place. A polling place can support more than one constituency, and to avoid confusion they will be separated into different Polling Stations.
Over the years I've noticed different conventions in Scotland and in England & Wales. In Scotland the signs outside say Polling Place, but in E & W the signs say Polling Station. I'm not sure what is done in N. Ireland.
