Love this head at the gate by Lodge at Pollok House in Glasgow. It might have been built in the 19th Century, but I'm sure he served me coffee in the west end just the other day!

The wonderful Pollok House, standing in what is now Pollok Country Park, close to the M77 and a little over three miles SW of Glasgow city centre. Whistlestop Scotland: Pollok House
Once the family seat of the Stirling-Maxwell family, the house is in Pollok Country Park on Glasgow's southside. The park also houses the Burrell Collection, one of the finest private collections or art and artefacts in the world. The house, built in 1752 overlooking the White Cart Water, was given to the city in 1966 and is now managed by the National Trust for Scotland.
